We started our journey in 1947 as an electrical goods trading company in Delhi and this year we are expected to clock a revenue of Rs 6,000 crores, catering to clean power back-up solutions, renewables and infrastructure. We are all set to surpass a revenue of Rs 15,000 crore before 2030.

India’s energy and infrastructure sectors have experienced remarkable growth and transformation over the past decade. From the rapid expansion of renewable energy capacity to the development of critical transportation and urban infrastructure, the country has made significant strides in fostering connectivity, economic development, and sustainable living.
India have been the fastest growing economy for the past four years and we are expected to remain so in the coming years. In our journey to become the third largest economy, just behind USA and China, the country has been investing heavily towards establishing itself as a manufacturing prowess, catering not just to ourselves but setting new benchmarks for the world to follow.
On the energy front, the Government’s focus on alternate sources of energy has been propelled with the need to ensure energy security at affordable prices, and to grow in a sustainable manner.
The recently announced PM Suryodaya Yojana aims to install rooftop solar panels in 1 crore households, facilitating significant annual savings up to ₹18,000 per household. This not only reduces the financial burden on households but also promotes energy self-sufficiency, environmental sustainability, and economic growth through job creation and indigenous solar industry development.
The impetus towards production of Bio-CNG in the recent past coupled with blending mandates will provide the twin benefit of reduction in costly natural gas imports as well as help address the issue of agri-waste.
Simultaneously, the National Green Hydrogen Mission will help the country become a net exporter of green hydrogen and its derivatives by 2030 as well as a key player in the green hydrogen manufacturing equipment on the global scale.
Despite the largest population in the world, our per capita emissions is one of the lowest in the world, accounting for 2 tonnes which is still less than half of the global average of 4.7 tonnes (FY 2022). This relatively low level of emissions can be attributed to various factors, including the prevalence of traditional lifestyles focusing on the 3R’s—Reduce, Recycle and Reuse. Additionally, India’s cultural and religious traditions often emphasize principles of environmental stewardship and reverence for nature, contributing to a broader societal ethos of ecological sensitivity.

Since our inception in 1947 to being known as a reliable provider of one-stop energy solutions, we have traversed a remarkable journey, evolving into a comprehensive energy and infrastructure conglomerate.
Today, our distributed energy business is one of the market leaders in the country providing clean and green, CPCB IV+ compliant, power back-up generators, with an in-house manufacturing capacity of 15,000+ gensets.
Our endeavour to transform India’s aspiration of becoming a solar powerhouse into a reality has been significant. Diversifying into Solar Modules & Products in 2012 marked a pivotal moment, culminating in the establishment of our in-house manufacturing unit with a capacity of 1.2GW today.
The commitment to continuously contribute to the nation’s progress remained unwavering. In 2022, this dedication took on a new dimension with the establishment of Jakson Green, an energy transition platform focusing on sustainable energy solutions. Jakson Green’s achievements evoke a sense of pride, with their portfolio of around 5 GW of solar EPC projects in India, MENA and CIS regions within first year of inception. Jakson Green is executing some of the world’s unique projects of producing green methanol, hydrogen dispensation and green ethanol. We have already signed for 1 GW of solar IPP projects and plan to develop 8 GW of IPP by 2030 including round the clock IPP projects.

We have invested in 150 KLPD Ethanol plant in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh which is a major step towards enhancing the country’s bio-fuels portfolio. We envision tripling this capacity in the next few years. We have signed up for two Bio CNG plants and we intend to invest in 10 Bio CNG plants much before 2030.
Coming to our Infra business, we are executing projects in the field of transmission & distribution, water distribution, civil and metro. Over the years, we have been able to develop in house design and execution capabilities with focus on quality and safety which positions Jakson uniquely.
